Job Purpose
To execute end-to-end formula and process development for products, ensuring adherence to good laboratory practices while monitoring data and quality to deliver robust products within budget, timeline, and regulatory standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Literature Review: Collate and review pharmaceutical literature, including USFDA guidelines, to inform product development strategies.
- Stage Gate Documentation: Prepare and submit stage gate documents based on development trials data to enable plant batch execution.
- Pre-Formulation Studies: Conduct pre-formulation studies, including characterization of reference products, to optimize formulations and develop robust products.
- Resource Procurement: Provide indents via supply chain management to procure required raw materials, packaging materials, and filters for development and submission batches.
- Regulatory Submission: Conduct R&D trials and execute regulatory submission batches to prepare data for successful product filing.
- Deficiency Response: Generate additional data at R&D or unit level to support and address regulatory deficiencies for product approval.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s Degree in Pharmacy with a specialization in Pharmaceutics.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in R&D, preferably in injectables.
