Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the position of Project Scientist (ICMR, Project) at the Department of Biological Science, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Hyderabad, against the project entitled “Design, Synthesis, and Preclinical Validation of Selective CDK7/Cyclin H/MAT1 Inhibitors as a Potential Treatment for Triple-Negative Breast Cancer” under the PI Dr. Santosh Kumar Guru. The eligibility criteria for the position are mentioned below.

Project Title: Design, Synthesis, and Preclinical Validation of Selective CDK7/Cyclin H/MAT1 Inhibitors as a Potential Treatment for Triple-Negative Breast Cancer.
Position: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)
Project duration: 36 months
Salary: 56,000 INR per month + House Rental Allowances (HRA) as per the ICMR norms [OR] As per ICMR norms (Approximate emoluments may be 71,120 INR).
Qualification
Essential:
- PhD with post-graduate (PG) degree (including integrated PG degree) such as M.S. (Pharm)/ M. Pharm/ M.Sc./ M. Tech or Equivalent (with specialization in Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/ Pharmacology & Toxicology/; [OR]
- First class post-graduate degree in aforementioned disciplines with three years research experience in cancer biology. The qualification(s) must be from the recognized Board/ University/ Institute.
Desirable: Candidates having experience in basic cancer biology with Cell/molecular biology, Flow cytometry, Cloning, Gene editing, cell culture, and manuscript writing expertise.
Age Limit: 35 years as on the date of 01 May 2024
Period: Initially for one year, the extension will depend on performance.
