IIT BHU Pharma Research Scientist Recruitment – Applications Invited
Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi invites applications from Indian nationals for the post of Project Research Scientist-I in the Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering & Technology.
Title of the project: Development of regenerative nanofibrous bioactive conduit for treatment of spinal cord injury.
Duration: Three years.
Fellowship Amount: Rs. 56,000 + HRA (16%) per month
Qualifications:
Essential qualifications:
- First-class postgraduate degree including the integrated PG degree.
- Second-class postgraduate degree, including the integrated PG degree with Ph.D.
- For Engineering/IT/CS-First class graduate degree of four years.
Desirable qualifications: First class degree in M. Pharm/M. S. (Pharm.)/M. Tech (Pharm)/M. Tech in Pharmacology/ Biotechnology / Pharmaceutics with GATE/GPAT/CSIR-NET or equivalent qualifications.
Age Limit: 35 Years (relaxable for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates as per the GOI norms).

Please write “Application for Project Research Scientist-I” in the subject line of the email. Self-attested Photostat copies of certificates along with detailed curriculum vitae should be attached.
Selection Process:
- The shortlisted candidates will be intimated by email and called for a personal interview.
- No TA/DA will be paid if called for an interview.
General Instructions:
- The PI has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for an interview to a reasonable limit based on qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated to appear in the interview and no other communications in this regard will be entertained.
- Original certificates and self-attested copies of all certificates need to be presented before the interview for verification.
