No. IBSD/1/75/2006: Applications are invited from the qualified and interested candidates for nine (09) nos. of project scientist positions at Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD), Imphal and its center at Shillong, Gangtok and Aizawl.
1. Project Scientist-III
Essential Qualification: Doctoral Degree in Life Sciences or Chemistry or Pharmacy from a recognized University or equivalent.
Upper Age limit (Years): 45
Monthly Emoluments (Rs.): 78,000/- +HRA
Desirable: Candidate with experience in natural product research.
2. Project Scientist-II
Essential Qualification: Ph.D in Life Sciences, Chemistry or Pharmacy from a recognized university with three years of experience in research and development in industrial and academic institutions or science and technology organization and scientific activities and services.
Upper Age limit (Years): 40
Monthly Emoluments (Rs.): 67,000/- +HRA
Desirable: Candidate with experience in natural product research.
3. Project Scientist-I
Essential Qualification: Ph.D in Life Sciences or Chemistry or Pharmacy from a recognized university.
Upper Age limit (Years): 35
Monthly Emoluments (Rs.): 56,000/- +HRA
Desirable: Candidate with experience in natural product research.
Note
: The number of above positions may be increased or decreased based on the availability of suitable candidates in each category. The reservation will be as per the Govt. of India norms. Selected candidates has to work in any center/node of IBSD.
