Applications for Junior Research Fellow / Project Assistant
Applications are invited from highly motivated and bright candidates for the following assignment on a
time-bound research project undertaken in the Amity Institute of Applied Sciences, Amity University,
Noida.
Name of Post: Junior Research Fellow (Project Assistant)
Number of posts: One (1)
Name of the Research Project: Electrochemical conversion of plastic wastes and polymers to value-added fuels and chemicals by metal single atoms.
Name of sponsoring agency: Council of Science and Technology (CST)-UP
Duration of the position: 11 MONTHS
Fellowship / Monthly compensation: 25,000/- (Consolidated) (As per CSTUP rule)
Essential qualifications
Candidates must have passed Master’s Degree (M.Sc. or M.Tech) in Chemistry/Chemical Sciences/ Materials Science)
with a minimum 60 % (or equivalent CGPA) from a recognized University.
High academic attainment with 1st class all throughout carrier should be preferable.
Age: The upper age limit for JRF shall be 28 years as on 1st April of the year in which the application is made.
General Condition
Appointment is purely temporary and terminates automatically without any notice or compensation on termination
of the research project.
Eligibility
Only Indian citizens who are residents of Uttar Pradesh are eligible
for applying as JRF in the research projectfunded by CST-UP.
Appointment Conditions
Appointment of the applicant will be governed by the terms and conditions of the funding agency particularly
applicable to the said project.
