National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Kolkata, is an Institute of National importance under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India. NIPER Kolkata has established Centre for Marine therapeutics (CMT), and is involved in the development of a new process for Marine Therapeutics, New Chemical Entity (NCE) from Marine sources. Applications are hereby invited for the recruitment for the following post at this Institute purely on a temporary basis for a period of 1 (one) year and it could be extended based on the performance of the candidate.
Name of the Position: Research Associate-II (RA-II)
No. of Positions: 01
Upper Age limit (Yr): 40
Educational Qualification: Ph.D (organic/medicinal chemistry).
Should have 1 year or more experience in the synthesis of chiral molecules, multistep synthesis/synthesis of API/Total synthesis of natural products. Should be well versed in analytical techniques and interpretation of analytical data.
Salary (Rs.): 49,000/- + HRA
Job requirement:
RA II: The candidate should design, synthesize the Chiral API molecules
, natural products in the laboratory, write manuscripts for scientific publications, and perform other assigned research workDate of the Interview: The shortlisted candidates will be informed by email about the interview date and time.
Terms and conditions:
- The above position is purely contractual for a period of 1 year.
- Selected candidate will not be entitled to claim for regular appointment/absorption in the institute.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
