Jubilant Biosys is hiring for a Senior Research Associate with Met ID exposure in the DMPK Department. We are a leading Contract Research Organization (CRO) offering integrated drug discovery and development solutions to the global pharmaceutical industry.

Job Description:
- Provide comprehensive biotransformation support (in vitro and in vivo) to assigned programs including analyzing data, preparing presentations, and presenting to the stakeholders.
- Bringing expertise in structure elucidation using HRMS data
- Responsible for development of LC-MS/MS chromatographic methods for small as well as large molecules ensuring separation of metabolites in MS and UV.
- Responsible for handling HRMS preferably LC-Q-Exactive system, Independent handling of HRMS systems (Q-Exactive preferable).
- Interpretation of expected and unexpected metabolites using in silico tools
- Supporting large molecule analysis including peptides and proteins
- Ensuring efficient operation of LC-MS/MS system.
- Collate the met-id data and prepare presentations for internal and external meetings
- Troubleshooting challenges with respect to with instrumentation as well as experimental design
- Maintaining timely calibration records of the LC-MS/MS system
- In-depth understanding of concepts of pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism with through knowledge of various principles of bioanalysis.
- Able to elucidate the tentative structures of the metabolites from the HRMS data and deduce putative metabolic pathways
- Rational experimental design for metabolite characterization and structural elucidation
- Expert understanding of the capabilities and use of metabolite prediction software
- Develop fit for purpose chromatographic methods for small as well as large molecules
