Job Title: Senior Research Fellow (Project)

Project Title: “Glycoproteomic profiling of O-glycosylation of leukosialin
(CD43/sialophorin) by mass spectrometry and its role in immunological processes” funded by SERB
Educational Qualifications
M.Sc in Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, or Chemistry
Desirable Experience of at least three years in mammalian cell cultures, biochemical techniques, mass spectrometry, and knowledge of glycobiology and host-pathogen interactions
Job Description To investigate glycosylation of CD antigens in mammalian cells,
isolate, and characterize them using the glycoproteomic methodologies. Mammalian cell culture, western / lectin blotting, confocal microscopy, flow cytometry, peptide and glycopeptide synthesis, and bio-analytical techniques.
Emoluments Rs. 35,000/- per month + 24% HRA (As per DST OM dated 30.01.2019)
