Important Interview Questions and Answers for the above job role:

What inspired you to apply for this Junior Research Fellow position?

Answer: I am interested in pursuing a research career in the field of Alzheimer’s Disease and I believe this project is a great opportunity for me to contribute towards the development of a novel method for early detection of Alzheimer’s Disease.

Can you elaborate on your experience in Pharmaceutics/Pharmaceutical Biotechnology?

Answer: I completed my M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics and have worked on various research projects related to drug delivery systems, formulation development, and pharmacokinetics. I have also completed an internship in a pharmaceutical company where I gained hands-on experience in the manufacturing and quality control of pharmaceutical products.

How familiar are you with fluorescence-based DNA-RNA hybrid photosensors?

Answer: I have studied the principles of fluorescence-based assays during my postgraduate studies and have worked on a project involving the development of a fluorescent probe for the detection of a biomarker in cancer. I am also familiar with the principles of DNA-RNA hybridization and have worked on a project involving the development of siRNA-based therapeutics.

Can you describe a time when you faced a challenge during a research project and how did you overcome it?

Answer: During my postgraduate studies, I was working on a project to develop a novel drug delivery system for a poorly soluble drug. I faced a challenge in achieving the desired drug release profile from the formulation. To overcome this, I optimized the formulation parameters, modified the drug loading method, and tested the formulations using various in vitro techniques until I achieved the desired drug release profile.

How do you plan to contribute to the research project entitled “Sense Alzheimer Novel Fluorescence based DNA-RNA Hybrid Photosensor for rapid detection of early stage Alzheimer’s Disease”?

Answer: I plan to contribute to the project by designing and synthesizing the DNA-RNA hybrid photosensor, optimizing the assay conditions, and performing in vitro and in vivo experiments to validate the sensitivity and selectivity of the photosensor. I also plan to analyze and interpret the data obtained from the experiments and assist in the preparation of research papers and presentations.
