Interested candidates are requested to apply for the following post in the Department of Aerospace and Applied Mechanics, Indian Institute of Engineering Science & Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, Howrah-711 103.
Job Title: Project Associate-I
Number of posts: 1 (One)
Essential Qualifications:
B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engg. + M. Tech with valid GATE score, or B.E./B.Tech. in
Aerospace/Mechanical/Chemical Engg. + M Tech from any recognized university without valid GATE score.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Theoretical and experimental knowledge on fundamentals of droplets, spraying, and coating techniques.
- Software skills: Ansys Fluent, or C/C++/ Python/MATLAB
- Basic understanding of different chemical reactions and synthesis routes.
Fellowship: Rs. 31000 + 24%HRA per month (for valid GATE score candidates)
Rs 25000 + 24% HRA per month (for non GATE candidates)
Age Limit: Maximum 35 Years (Upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 Yrs for SC/ST/OBC/Woman and Physically Handicapped Candidates).
Duration: 22 Months

Interested and eligible candidates should mail soft copies of the application letter in plain paper, recent biodata, mark sheets and certificates. All documents should be self-attested. Physical documents will be verified at
the time of interview. The interview will be canceled if any discrepancies are found in the documents at thetime of physical verification.
Venue and Date of the interview: Office of the Dean (R&C), IIEST Shibpur. (Note: No TA/DA will be admissible for the eligible candidates)
