Job Title: Scientist – II
Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India
Eligbility Criteria
- Bachelors or master’s in science (Chemistry or Bio) or Life Science.
- > 5 years of relevant experience work experience in the Pharmaceutical or Life science industry.
- Good Technical Project Management
- Good knowledge of own scientific discipline and broader capabilities
- Solves intermediate complexity problems; provides countermeasures using technical experience.
- Can Explain technical information to others (customers)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Desire to work closely with a diverse team and team player.
- Conversant with PC based programmes
- Works independently and can provide scientific analysis of data
- Good Knowledge of Laboratory techniques (example : LC/MS, GC/MS, etc) and measurement methods
What you’ll do
- Responsible for assigned projects of intermediate complexity with minimal guidance and direction.
- Co-lead Technical consultation with customers (internal and external), involving validation testing plans and data review, test recommendations based on regulatory knowledge and expectations.
- Collaborate with external customer to determine scope of required project and ensure studies are designed to meet expectations.
- Close teamwork and communication, with the lab team to ensure all test requirements are in place.
- Interpret laboratory data and prepare specific test reports to meet customer expectations.
- Update customers (internal and external) of project status regularly
- Answer customer technical questions of intermediate complexity
- Travel to customer site for technical meetings
- Provide standard presentations and training to customers (internal and external)
- Establish project priorities and decide appropriate action required to meet required target dates
- Schedule work into the laboratory in conjunction with lab team.
- Update team manager of status of assigned projects, including completion, delays or problems
- Document and report project progress
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of current regulatory trends, issues and guidelines relating to the products being supported.
- Attend training courses as required and assist with training of new staff.
- Support intermediate complexity internal project work in support of R&D, NPI, NPD, QC release testing, etc.. – as required by management.
