Research Project Remediation of microplastics from water resources with surface modified nanozeolite Y derived from aluminosilicate industrial wastes

Tenure of the Assignment 03 years (based on the performance) OR completion of the
project, whichever is earlier.
Job Description To carry out research work related to the project and to continue Ph.D. at NIT Rourkela on the topic of this project work.
Consolidated monthly compensation / Fellowship
INR 31,000/- per month for 1st Two years and INR 35,000/- per month for 3rd year as per Govt. rules. Scope of conversion to funded PhD fellow after closure of project.
Essential Qualifications and experience
A Master’s degree (M.E./M.Tech.) in Engineering (Chemical/ Environmental/ Biotechnology/Polymer or allied branch of Engg) with minimum CGPA of 7.0/10.0 (or 65% aggregate) OR a Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Engineering (Chemical/ Environmental/ Biotechnology/Polymer or allied branch of Engg) with a Minimum CGPA of
8.0/10.0 (or 75% aggregate) OR Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Science(Environmental/ Polymer / Material Science) with minimum CGPA of 7.0/10.0 (or 65% aggregate).
Desirable Qualifications/Experiences
Prior research experience or knowledge in any area of waterrelated research (water analysis, treatment or, polymer characterization is preferred but not mandatory. Hand-on
experience on handling reactors, GC, HPLC etc. would be an
added advantage.
Accommodation Bachelor/Married accommodation in the hostel inside the
institute campus may be provided subject to availability (campus stay is compulsory).
