Project Title “Neurosteroids and Mood Disorders: Investigating the Role of Glucocorticoid System in Modulating the Effects of Finasteride” –
PI: under the guidance of Dr. BN Srikumar, Additional Professor, Department of Neurophysiology & Principal Investigator, and Dr. BS Shankaranarayana Rao, Professor of Neurophysiology & Co-Principal Investigator.
Job Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Eligbility Criteria:
M. S. (Pharm) or M. Pharm. in Pharmacology or equivalent Master’s degree with good academic record Research Experience 1-2 years of Research experience in Neurophysiology / Neuroscience / Neuropsychopharmacology
Desirable Experience
Experience in evaluation of behaviors in rodents, exvivo electrophysiology, pharmacological assessment, stereotactic surgery in rodents, neurohistology
Maximum Age Limit 28 years (Age may be relaxed for exceptionally
meritorious candidates)
Emoluments Rs. 31,000/- + 24% HRA pm
Duration of the post Initial appointment will be made for one year, extendable
up to 2 years or till the end of the project, based on the performance of the candidate.How To Apply:Â
