Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in a project to be undertaken at the Department of Biotechnology, NIPER- Ahmedabad. The position is temporary and will be a co-terminus with the project. If the JRF fulfills the institute criteria, admission to Ph.D. through NIPER entrance may be considered. Desirables Qualification and Experience
• M.Sc./M.Tech/MPharm or Equivalent with minimum 60% marks in degree.
• Candidates having experience in Next generation sequencing assays such as RNA-Seq, ChIP-seq, Molecular biology, Bioinformatics, Animal handling, Cell culture, 3D tumour
models, Proteomics and Mass spectrometry, and CRISPRCas9 assays would be preferred
• NET/GATE qualification is desirable
Job Profile The primary focus of the projects are:
1) Next-generation sequencing, including RNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq, HiC, HiChIP etc
2) CRISPR assays in cell lines
3) Proteomic profiling of patient biopsy and cell lines using Mass spectrometry
4) Generation of tumoriods/organoids (PDOs) from tissues
