Job Title: Assistant Manager Lubricant Application
Location: Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India
Eligibility Criteria: M.Sc in Chemistry /B.Tech in Chemical, Mechanical & Metallurgical Engineering
Technical Competencies: 2-5 years of experience in Cold Roll steel mill/ experience in lubricant product development or experience in lubricant industries
Job Purpose:
- Monitor lubricant health in rolling mills and maintain a database to ensure compliance with standards.
- Understanding the lubricant application in rolling mills and assisting team in defect
- identification and lubricant trials with co-ordination between R&D, Quality, and Operations
- Design and fabricate experimental setup or technique to simulate plant conditions.
- Compile and interpret test results and write technical reports and prepare graphs and charts.
- Maintain and upkeep safe work environment at R&D laboratory.
- Order and inventory materials and spares to maintain supply.
- Assist in ISO 9001:2015 documentation.
Key Activities:
- Monitor lubricant health in rolling mills and maintain a database to ensure compliance with standards.
- Co-ordinate and assist cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, and Operations) during defect identification and lubricant trials in plant
- Ensuring safety and ISO compliance in laboratory
- Compile, interpret test results, and writing technical reports
