Job Title: Lubricants Technician

Work Location: Bengaluru, India
Eligibility: Master’s in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering
Experience: With a minimum of 3 years of work experience
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of lubricant formulation, chemistry or testing will be required.
- Bitumen testing and related experimental techniques will be a plus.
- High accuracy measurements which also require good laboratory handling skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Independent thinking and/or problem solving. Ability to come up with an experimental plan for small sub-sections of a project, interpret data and come up with preliminary analysis of trends and recommendations.
- Pro-active with respect to addressing technical challenges and technical skill development
- Resilient towards project failure the new portfolio will have a higher risk of failure and staff member must have sufficient courage to manage this.
- Ability and resilience to multi-task and adapt to changes in the experimental plan
- Ability to conduct literature surveys, design experimental plans and then execute them under the guidance of project leaders. Preliminary data analysis and recommendations on next steps is also required.
- To pro-actively develop oneself in technical skills areas.
- Ability to plan experimental protocol to support project sub-sections, independent execution and preliminary interpretation of data and generation of recommendations.
- Strict adherence to all HSSE rules, training and general housekeeping rules.
