Scope
• Position based in Mumbai R&D centre for Home Care South Asia Cluster Design Centre (CDC).
• Scope of this position is for laundry powder formulation development and market implementation for South Asia business that includes India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka

Job Description & Skills Needed
- Input into product design for home care application considering immediate and long-term business strategy
- Good understanding of appreciation of product design principles and process
- In-depth understanding of formulation design principles. Understanding and appreciation of scale-up from bench/pilot scale to factory
- Generate a depth understanding of consumer insights, market needs& how to use it for product design
- Coming up with a creative demonstration of product strengths for its use in-market activation
- Handling of multiple product design requirements (E2E mix coordination) while partnering with a cross-functional team including brand, finance, procurement, SC etc.
- Must have the vision to identify opportunities to leverage the power of data, AI and also contribute in the R&D digital vision, innovation and savings funnel
- Preferably experience of developing formulations for different formats – powder/liquids/emulsions
- Carry out standard pilot plant scale experiments/ trials and establish scale-up feasibility
- Must be competent to communicate with external/internal non-R&D teams
- Cross-functional interaction and coordination to manage network
