PhD Programme of AcSIR Announced – August 2022 Session

The CSIR- Central Institute of Mining and Fuel Research, Dhanbad, a premier research institute under the aegis of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), invites applications for Ph.D. Programme under Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) from eligible candidates.

Eligibility Criteria:

Ph.D. (Science): A Master’s degree in Sciences Chemistry having a valid fellowship of CSIR/ UGC-NET (JRF only) or INSPIRE or other equivalents
national fellowships.

Ph.D. (Engineering): M.E./M.Tech./M.Sc Tech. or Chemical Engg. with a good academic record and a valid CSIR/ UGC or equivalent national fellowship.

CSIR Scientists Group IV, Technical Staff Group III, Research Fellows, and Project Assistants working in CSIR-CIMFR for a minimum period of one year, who fulfill the qualifications, are also eligible to apply. Such candidates will have to submit a statement of purpose along with the recommendation of the proposed guide (with whom the candidate is undergoing project work and desires to undertake the thesis work) directly to the Coordinator of the Institute in addition to applying online form.

Reservation in admission for Ph.D. is applicable as per Govt. of India guidelines.
