DRDO Sponsored Project Chemistry Job in Tezpur University
Applications in the prescribed format (enclosed) are invited for an online interview to be held on 21/02/2022 for one (01) temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DRDO sponsored research project entitled, “Self-healing and Self-cleaning epoxy thermosetting nanocomposites” under the Principal Investigator Professor Niranjan Karak,
Department of Chemical Sciences, Tezpur University, 784028, Tezpur, Assam.
Qualification: Master’s in Science/Technology in Chemistry/Polymer Science/Polymer Technology having NET/GATE or equivalent qualification.
Desirable: The knowledge in polymer and nanomaterial will be preferred.
Age Limit: Candidate shall not be more than 28 years on the last date of receipt of application. The upper age limit may be
relaxed as per the Government of India rules.
Fellowship: ₹ 31,000/- (Rupees thirty-one thousand) only plus HRA as admissible per month for 1st and 2nd year; and ₹ 35,000/- (Rupees thirty-five thousand) only plus HRA as admissible per month for 3rd year. The terms and conditions are as per the DRDO, New Delhi.
Duration: Three (03) years or till completion of the project until further order, whichever is earlier.

of mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate (if any), certificates of NET/GATE or similar examination qualifications, any other testimonials and a copy of recent signed Curriculum Vitae (CV) to the Principal Investigator through e-mail ([email protected]) on or before 28/02/2022. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview (online mode). Shortlisted candidates may appear before the Interview Board online with all the original documents. Original documentsof the candidates will be verified by the Selection Committee.
N.B.
(1) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
(2) Those in employment or doing a Ph.D. must submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the concerned employer / Ph.D. Supervisor.
