JNCASR M Tech Chemical Engineering – Project Associate Job

Applications are invited for the temporary position of Project Associate-I sanctioned in the
CMPDI/JNCASR/D0018/2021/01201 (CMPDI/SCP/4687) sponsored project titled “Scaling up the conversion of CO2 to methanol and other value-added chemicals with 500 Kg CO2/day capacity” under the Principal Investigator Prof. Sebastian C. Peter, New Chemistry Unit, JNCASR, Jakkur, Bengaluru, 560 064.

Job Title: Project Associate-I

Remuneration Rs.31,000 plus 24% HRA

Essential Qualification: M. Tech or equivalent degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent 35 years 2

Desirable qualifications: Experience on the operation of process units is beneficial. Hands-on experience in running experimental/ process R&D assets will be useful. Preferable to have experience in moderate hydrogen pressure applications and handling of hydrocarbons. Knowledge of the operation of DCS or SCADA systems will be beneficial for the role.
