BHU Pharmaceutical Chemistry Job Vacancy – Applications Invited
Applications are invited for the post of Project Assistant in a BHU, IoE Seed grant (MoE India) sponsored project entitled “Biological Evaluation of Novel Synthetic and Natural Selective inhibitors against DNA replisomal machinery of Mycobacterium tuberculosis.” under the supervision of Dr. Meenakshi Singh, Department of Medicinal Chemistry, Institute of Medical Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi-221005, Uttar Pradesh, India. The project is sanctioned up to three years (from July 2020 to July 2023). The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Qualifications:
M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, M. Sc. in Chemistry and allied subjects with at least 55% aggregate marks.
Desirable: NET /GATE qualified candidate. Candidates with strong interest and working experience in Organic Synthesis, Computational Chemistry, and Nanoparticles may apply. Preference will be given to those candidates having sound knowledge background in the area.
Age Limit: The upper age limit is 28 years (5 years age relaxation for SC/ST/Physically
Handicapped/Female candidates) and government of India.
Salary: 8,000/ month (Consolidated).
