Advertisement for the position of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DBT-funded
research project [BT/PR40669/MED/32/761/2020] at the Department of Chemistry, IIT
Ropar Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DBT-funded research project with the following details:

Project Title: Antisense oligonucleotide-loaded, 3D printed, double-layered, and
multifunctional wound healing matrix to target angiogenesis in chronic diabetic wounds.
Principal Investigator (PI): Dr. Yashveer Singh, Associate Professor, Department of
Chemistry, IIT Ropar, Rupnagar, Punjab (01881-232068/9779668895; [email protected]).
Co-PI: Dr. Durba Pal, Assistant Professor, Department of Biomedical Engineering, IIT Ropar,
Rupnagar, Punjab.

Job Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF, 1 No).

Qualifications: MSc (Chemistry); MPharm (Pharmaceutical Sciences); MTech (Materials) or an equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate score (6.5-grade points on a scale of 10). For the SC/ST category, the candidate must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate score (6.0-grade points on a scale of 10) in a master’s degree. In addition, the candidate must have qualified CSIR/UGC JRF-NET/GPAT/GATE/BET.

Age limit: 28 years.

Salary: As per the DBT norms.

Duration: Three years or up to the termination of the project, subject to

annual performance review.

Note: The candidate selected for the position of JRF will have the option to register for the Ph.D. program at IIT Ropar. However, for admission to the Ph.D. program at IIT Ropar, the candidate must meet eligibility requirements and also qualify for the written examination and/or interview.
