The role of Advanced Process Technology Engineer in Delhi Engineering is to deliver Projects with high quality and on schedule following the UOP work process. The engineer will also lead a team of engineers on projects within their area of expertise to ensure flawless execution of projects. The engineer will maintain a high level of billable work activities.

Basic Qualifications: BE or equivalent degree in Chemical Engineering 7-10 years experience in the engineering field with the majority in Gas Processing, NGL Recovery Technologies (Design, Service, Operations, Sales or Development).
Additional Qualifications for the Position: Strong Detailed Engineering experience in execution of NGL Technologies; Familiarization with UOP engineering work processes, demonstrated excellent technical skills, communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Position Accountabilities:
- Run process models. Prepare PFD’s
- Complete process studies and present results to customer
- Run hydraulics programs and issue complete, correct hydraulic specifications
- Use UOP tool set to prepare information required by vessel, exchanger, and rotating equipment specialists.
- Identify changes and mark up P&ID’s in preparation for P&ID checks
- Perform relief valve calculations and prepare Relief Valve specifications
- Follow UOP procedures for the release and revision of process and project specifications
Conduct feasibility studies
Lead P&ID Checks - Meet commitments to finish tasks on time and makes milestone targets.
- Look for opportunities to improve productivity through the use of new or improved tools, procedures and personal work methods. Support / Lead Digitization efforts.
- Develop task schedule consistent with project timing requirements and availability of equipment specialists and Design Engineers.
Identify, define and resolve problems - Recognize and champion new ideas. Use knowledge and theory to draw conclusions that demonstrate new concepts and extend our technology
- Produce work that is consistent, correct, timely, and complete.
- Ensure all projects follow UOP work process and are completed within budgeted man-hours.
- Make sure ‘Quality’ of all deliverables are met & also escalate issues in a timely manner;
- Review and report on project quality and schedule on a regular basis;
- Recommend work process improvements, including justifications.
Manage the customer interface - Lead team, monitors progress, recognize opportunities for improvement and takes corrective actions
- Lead key project meetings, ensuring full participation by all parties and closure on issues
- Assess the technical aspects of the entire design package, recognize and correct any deficiencies
