Eligibility Criteria:

  • MSc in Physical Chemistry or Physics or MTech Chem Engineering
  • Strong programming skills in Python/Matlab
  • Academic / industrial experience in modeling, programming language, computation
  • Good written & verbal communications skill

Relevant Experience

  • Research projects on modeling
  • Experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams & projects
  • Practical experience with one or more of the following packages (preferred)

Business Context and Main Purpose of the Job

The role of the Science and Technology (S&T / BPC) pillar within R&D is to deliver breakthrough “Differentiated Technologies” using “Innovations 2:0 Big Bets” to meet consumer needs & preferences around the world. Two of these Big Bets involved

“Advanced Sustainable Materials & Formats” seamlessly linked with “Digital Technology”.

The surface Engineering team (SE, within S&T) is employing materials chemistry and physics to cosmetically modify, repair or enhance the body’s substrates. Teams’ focus is to deliver faster and cost-effective Innovations through Advanced Material Pillar using Digital Capability. The purpose is to build a differentiated innovation roadmap and claims using Cheminformatics, QM simulation, and AI/ML, and to out-perform the competition, and build supremacy and equity for our leading brands. To meet BPC / S&T / SE growth ambition, we need a Digital and Computation expert to join the SE team in Bangalore R&D Centre. This role requires working across multi-disciplinary global teams and is ideally suited for an energetic, self-motivated, and resourceful research associated with practical skills in Digital & Computation. The candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to work on their own initiative and a desire to continually develop their scientific skills.

Main Accountabilities

  • Drive digital/modeling-related project/s and capabilities to deliver Appearance /
  • Cosmetic benefit through Material Physics, QM Simulations, and Cheminformatics & modeling.
  • Apply theory and modeling to explain experimentally based structure-property/activity relationships with the goal of predicting end-use product performance
  • Build IP funnel for differentiated and exclusive consumer benefits
  • Deliver business impact (e.g. iTO) through active teamwork/collaboration with S&T and
  • Design stakeholders.
  • Ensure Growth Mindset and thought Leadership with resource efficiency, speed & teamwork

  1. I am a producer. I produce sodium toilet soap using lye in solid form you don’t have to dissolve in water & then cool. You add PKO in plastic bowl mixer lye SLS STPP perfume water & then mix you have paste soap & then allow to solidify. I also make dishwashing by aggregation of sodium lauryl sulphate with soda ash dense
