CSIR NEERI Chemistry Associate Job Vacancy – Applications Invited
Eligible and interested candidates are invited for ONLINE INTERVIEW Through Microsoft Teams for the following purely temporary positions for the project “Providing technical services and compliance monitoring during the full-scale soil remediation at the mercury-contaminated closed thermometer factory site of HUL, Kodaikanal”, Dindigul District, Tamil Nadu. Job Title: Project Associate-I
No.of posts: One position
Eligibility Criteria: M. sc. (Chemistry)
Desirable:
- Experience in environmental chemical analysis
- Knowledge o local language (Tamil)
Job Requirements:
Collection and analysis of oil/sediment/ water/biota samples for mercury. Analytical report reparation, inter-laboratory comparison, A/QC, and laboratory maintenance the requirements he selected candidate ay to need to work in shifts.
Age Limit: 35 years
Salary:Â
i) Rs. 31,000/- per month plus HRA (as applicable) to scholars who are selected through
(a) National Eligibility Tests — CSIR-UGC NET including lecturership or GATE or
(b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central
Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions or ii) Rs. 25000/- per month plus HRA (as applicable) for others who do not fall under (i) above
Place of posting: HUL Site Laboratory, Kodaikanal, Dindigul District, Tamil Nadu
Mode ofSelection:
• Application form for particular position code can be filled online which is available on the CSIR-NEERI website (www.neeri.res.in) under the caption: Non-Regular/Engagement of project assistants.
• Selection will be on the basis of online Interviews through MS Team. The date of the interview will be notified separately through e-mail.
• All manpower positions in the projects are on a contract basis and will be co-terminus with the project.
• Only those candidates who have completed the essential qualification & result has been declared are eligible to apply.
• The shortlisted applicants shall be required to appear for the interview through the MS team.
• The shortlisted candidates have to be available on the date of the Online Interview from 10.00 A.M. onwards and will be called anytime during the allotted time period (if any change is there, they will be accordingly intimated).
• Upon selection/empanelment, the original documents including eligibility qualification, age, and relaxation will be verified, if any discrepancy is found, the selection/empanelment stands canceled.
