Job Title: Specialist – Cheminformatics
Dept – Global Regulatory Affairs
Job Location– Electronic city Bangalore
Eligibility Criteria:Â
- Graduate /post-graduation degree in cheminformatics. Ph.D. preferable
- Min. 3-7 years of profound experience in Regulatory Affairs/Product Safety experience an asset
- Experience with cheminformatics packages such as RDKit, CDK, OpenEye, or the ChemAxon toolset.
- Experience developing software in Python, C++, or Java is required
- Familiar with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Very good command of English, other language
- Comfortable working in complex environments, results-driven, collaborative and purposeful
Your Role: As a Cheminformatics Specialist, you are responsible for the development and implementation of (Q)SAR activities within the Regulatory Affairs area. The Cheminformatics Specialist will manage projects involving advanced knowledge of the application of computational toxicology as alternative toxicological methods to include familiarity with current in-silico models
(ie. QSAR, MOA/AOP models), and bioinformatics/cheminformatics of large datasets.Develop and support IT applications within the Digital Transformation Group. The use of new probabilistic approaches like deep learning is expected. In addition, you coordinate and perform the testing, evaluation, and analysis of new functionalities, securing the continuous improvement of data and content support as well as efficient working procedures.
Key Skillset :
Hands-on experience with usage of RDKit tool.
Software knowledge – Python, MySQL
