DBT-ICGEB Chemical Engineering Job 2021 – Project Assistant
Positions are available in the DBT-ICGEB Centre for Advanced Bioenergy Research in the lab of Dr. Syed Shams Yazdani. Please note that this is a temporary project position whose duration is only for the tenure of the DBT-funded project.
Job Title– 01 -SRF Position for process development
Job description: The selected candidate will be conducting fungal fermentation
of 0.5L-20L scale of various fungal strains.
Qualifications:
Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (Such as Chemical Engineering
or Biochemical Engineering or fermentation technology) selected through a process
described through any one of the following
a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR NET Including
lectureship (Assistant professorship) and GATE.
b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central
Government Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT,
DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
And Qualification proscribed above (A and B) with two years of research experience
as JRF.
Desirable qualifications:
• Experience in handling and operating various kinds of bioreactors
• Experience in working with cellulolytic enzymes will be advantageous.
