Tezpur University Vacancy – Chemistry & Chemical Engineering
Applications are invited for an online interview to be held at 11.00 a.m. on 25/08/2021 in the Department of Energy, Tezpur University, Napaam, Assam for one (01) temporary position of Junior Research Fellow in a DST sponsored Indo-Hungary International Collaborative research
Project Title: “Applied research and development for the industrial realization of lignin recycling and conversion to value-added international market products”
Principal Investigator Dr. D. Deka, Professor, Department of Energy, Tezpur University.
Qualification: Master’s degree in Energy Technology (Chemistry/Chemical Engineering background will be preferred) or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Postgraduate in Chemical Science/Chemistry with 55% marks or equivalent CGPA along with valid NET/GATE as per DST norms.
Desirable: Candidate having working experience in biomass/biofuel laboratory.
Fellowship: 31,000 (Rupees thirty-one thousand) only + 8% HRA as admissible per month as JRF.
Age: Candidate shall not be more than 28 years of age on the date of interview (one year may be relaxed for candidates having an M.Tech. degree based on eligibility). The upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules.
Duration: The appointment will be initially for a period of one (01) year which may be extended
further depending upon satisfactory performance of the incumbent and co-terminus with the project or until further order, whichever is earlier.How To Apply:
