Advertisement for the post of Project Associate – I under ‘DBT’ funded Project at Institute of Nano Science and Technology Applications are invited from highly motivated and bright candidates for engagement of Project Associate-I in the research project funded by ‘DBT’, Government of India at Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali.

Project Title: Understanding the Forces Involved in the Packing of Enzymes Inside the
Bacterial Microcompartments for the Development of Novel Encapsulated Bio-Systems

Principal Investigator: Dr. Sharmistha Sinha, Scientist-E

Job Title: Project Associate – I

Number of positions available: One

Qualifications:

M.S(Pharm.)/M.Pharm/M.Tech./M.Sc/M.V.Sc Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences
(preferable specialization in pharmaceutics or Pharmacology) with NET/GATE/GPAT qualification.

Desirable: Experience in nano-formulations, Cell culture studies, Biophysical Chemistry,

Age limit: The upper age limit shall be 35 years as of 15.07.2021, which is relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Schedule Tribes/, Physically
Handicapped/Visually Handicapped and female applicants whereas 3 years in case of OBCs
(Non-creamy layer candidates).

Salary: Rs. 31,000/- + 8% HRA (pm)

Project duration: Initially for one year and may be extended based on the performance of the candidate.

General Terms and Conditions:

• The position is purely temporary and on a contractual basis and renewable subject to
  satisfactory performance till the end of the project. The position is co-terminus with the
  project.
• Candidates selected for this position can also apply for the regular Ph.D.
  program of INST provided they satisfy eligibility criteria.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Original documents of age proof/certificates/degrees/mark sheets and other testimonials
  must be presented along with the self-attested photocopies of these documents at the
  time of interview.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated through email for online interview and
  no other communication in this regard will be entertained.
