Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
1) Specifies battery cooling system components (fan, blower, chiller, pump, heat exchanger, cold plate, cooling line, compressor), materials and methodologies to ensure products meet
all homologation, quality and customer requirements
2) Handle multiple projects independently with minimal guidance
3) Ability and flexibility to coordinate with multiple vendors, internal teams & testing team to meet the project objective
4) Evaluates supplier specs, analysis and test reports to ensure proper selection of suppliers
5) Battery thermal management algorithm including prognostics/diagnostic logics
6) Experience in CATIA to perform CAD check for interference, gap/clearance, etc
7) Conducts DFMEA, DFM, DFS, DFA for battery thermal system and components
8) Benchmarking
for battery thermal management9) Support the vehicle program delivery to meet the timeline
10) Come up with new ideas of thermal management
11) Thermal system design of cooling and ventilation system for battery packs (air and liquid)
12) Conducts developmental testing of new thermal concepts
