Detailed Advertisement Notice for Recruitment of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
under the RUSA-MHRD funded research project Applications are invited in the prescribed format for the recruitment of JRF under RUSA 2.0 funded research project as per the following details:
Project title: “Conjunction Based Drug Design Approach in Search of Third Generation
Antiepileptics: Design, Synthesis, Anticonvulsant Evaluation and Computer-Aided Drug
Design Studies of 4-(5-phenyl-1H pyrazol-3-yl)benzylamine derivatives”
Number of vacancies: Junior Research Fellow (one)
Emoluments: Rs. 25,000-/ p.m.+ HRA
Eligibility Criteria: Master’s degree in Pharmacy with minimum 55% of marks
(Preferred area: Pharmaceutical/ Medicinal Chemistry)
Desirable Qualification: GPAT qualified; having experience in Organic synthesis,
Computer-Aided Drug Design, Pharmacological Evaluation and good computational
skills.
Job Requirement: To carry out computational studies, organic synthesis, characterization
and biological evaluation of synthesized compounds.

Selection Procedure:
All the applications shall be scrutinized by a screening committee and shortlisted candidates shall be informed by e-mail and mobile number. The prescribed educational qualifications are minimum eligibility and mere possession of the same does not entitle the candidates to be
called for the interview.The decision of the scrutiny and selection committee shall be final in this regard. All the shortlisted candidates shall be required to appear in an interview. The date of interview of the shortlisted candidates will be informed by e-mail well in advance. Original documents of the selected candidate will be verified at the time of joining. In case any false
submissions, the selection stands cancelled and waitlisted candidates will be hired in
order of merit.
Terms & Conditions:
i. The engagement is purely on temporary contractual basis, which may be extended
depending on the duration of the project/satisfactory performance/conduct of
appointee.
ii. The tenure of the advertised post shall be for one year and co-terminus with the
project, whichever is earlier.
iii. The appointee shall have no claim of appointment/absorption in funding agency or in
MLS University, Udaipur.
iv. Appointment of the applicant will be governed by the terms and conditions of the
funding agency particularly applicable to the said project.
v. The qualification prescribed should have been obtained from the UGC recognized
universities/institutions.
vi. The selected candidates shall not be entitled to any allowances such as TA/DA.
vii. Project P.I. reserves the right not to fill-up these positions, if she/he decides so.
Note: The candidature of the candidates, who are unable to produce original documents along with filled application form (see below), shall be summarily rejected.
