Applications are invited on plain paper for filling up of two positions of Project Associates-I
(PA-I) & one position of Principal Project Associate on a purely temporary basis, in the
prescribed proforma. The detail of the Sponsored Project under which engagement is proposed to be made is as under:

Job Title: Project Associate – I

Title of the Project: Industry Training on Continuous Flow Synthesis and To develop scale-up guidelines for continuous flow solvent-free synthesis platforms using mechanochemistry

Eligibility:

M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic Chemistry) B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering with minimum 60% marks (aggregate)
Principal Project Associate:

Desirable experience, if any

MSc student: Hands-on experience in organic synthesis, preferably with one year experience on organic synthesis
BE/BTech: Good understanding of unit operations, reaction engineering and fluid dynamics

Principal Project Associate: Experience in all the following

domains: process development, process design, continuous flow synthesis, pi

lot plant design, hands-on experience of analytical instrument viz. GC/HPLC, etc.

Age limit* For Project Associate -I: 35* years

For Principal Project Associate: 40 years*

Job requirement Synthesis of Agrochemical, Pharmaceutical ingredients and
understanding solid-solid reactions

Consolidated emoluments per month
PA-I:

i) Rs. 31,000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through a) National eligibility tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE

ii) Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above
Principal Project Associate:
Rs. 49000/- per month (DST OM No. SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30.01.2019, With reference to No.4/CMG/2020-TMDII rules dated 13.08.2019)

No. of positions to be filled up PA-I: 2 positions, PPA: 1 Position

  The format is attached at the end of this advertisement. Hard copy of the application will not be considered.
• Prepare the application in given format with signature (scan copy or electronic sign). We should receive only one PDF file as an attachment in the given format. Size of the soft copy of the application should not be more than 1 MB. Shortlisted candidates will be eligible for online interview after the verification of their scanned copy of the original certificates/mark sheet.
• The email application should reach on or before 06-12-2020. Late applications will not be considered.
• The prescribed educational qualifications are a bare minimum and merely possessing of same will not entitle candidates to be called for interview. Where number of applications received in response to this Notice of engagement is large, it may not be convenient or possible to interview all the candidates. Based on the recommendation of the Screening Committee, the Project Leader may restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to reasonable limits after taking into consideration qualifications and experience over and above the minimum qualifications prescribed in the Notice. Therefore, it will be in the interest of the candidates, to mention all the qualifications and experience in the relevant field at the time of applying.
• The candidates shortlisted by the Screening Committee for being called for interview would be updated online and via email on or the candidates may ascertain the information next day via email to [email protected].
• The short-listed candidates will be informed about the shortlisting on 8th December 2020 and they are required to appear for an online interview before the Selection Committee. The interviews will be held on 10 th December 2020 at 11:30 am onwards. The shortlisted candidates must be present for the interview along with scanned documents.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview. The candidates recommended by the interview committee will have to join the duty immediately on receipt of the offer of engagement.

The short-listed candidates will be informed about the shortlisting on 8th December 2020 and they are required to appear for an online interview before the Selection Committee. The interviews will be held on 10 th December 2020 at 11:30 am onwards.
