BITS Pilani Research Fellow Post Vacancy – MSc Chemistry
Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow in the Department of Chemistry at BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, Goa for a SERB-DST sponsored research project titled “Dualfunctional and band-gap tunable visible-active semiconductors as hosts for single-atom catalysts: Co-production of solar fuels and value-added chemicals with high selectivity” (SRG/2020/000719).
Job Title: Jr Research Fellow
Principal Investigator: Dr. Kiran Vankayala
Duration of the project: 2 years
Fellowship Amount (Rs.): INR 31000 per month or as per SERB-DST norms
Accommodation: Hostel accommodation will be provided subject to availability and will be governed by the rules and regulations of the Institute prevailing at the time of joining of the candidate.
Qualification: M.Sc degree in Chemistry/Material Science/Nanotechnology or equivalent degree graduates from reputed University/Institute with First class or equivalent grade. Candidate must have qualified GATE or UGC/CSIR-NET. Knowledge on material science, electrochemistry, spectroscopy, analytical techniques such as GC, HPLC will be an advantage. Good analytical and communication skills are desirable.
