NIT Karnataka Chemistry Job Opening – Junior Research Fellow

Applications are invited from the interested candidates for the post of JRF to work on the R&D project titled “Design and Development of Non-Enzymatic Biosensors for Dengue Virus (DENV)” sponsored by ASEAN- India Collaborative R&D scheme under ASEAN-India S&T Development Fund (AISTDF), DST, New Delhi.

The selected candidate will be appointed initially for one year and the services will be extended till competition of the project based on the performance review.

Consolidated Salary Rs. 31,000/- + (Per month) +HRA as per Institute rules

Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

M.Sc. in Chemistry/Nanomaterials with expertise in Sensors/Nanomaterials/Biosensors/Chemistry of nanomaterials. Candidates must have at least 6.5/10 CGPA or 60 per cent marks in aggregate from a recognized technical institute or university as a full-time program. Those who are appearing for M.Sc. the final semester may also apply. Proof of M.Sc. certificate has to be provided during the time of the interview.

Age limit: 27 years

) Scanned copies of educational certificates and mark sheets, class X onwards and (5) Scanned copies of Proof for research experience, special achievements and publications, if any (6) Valid ID proof. The soft copies of all the above documents (pdf format) must be emailed as one file to the Principal Investigator (Prof. B. Ramachandra Bhat) on or before 25th August 2020. Candidates who are already employed should produce relieving certificate from their employers if selected. The shortlisted candidates with the date and mode of written test/interview will be intimated by email only.

The selection will be based on qualification, experience and interview. NITK Surathkal reserves the right to reject any or all the applications without assigning any reasons thereof.
