PA position in the Department of Chemistry – BITS Pilani

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Project Assistant to work on the
following project sponsored by Department of Science & Technology (DST), under the
supervision of Dr Himanshu Aggarwal, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry,
BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad campus. The project involves synthesis, characterization,
crystallization and applications of Metal-organic frameworks.

Title of the project: Synthesis of highly stable Zr-based mixed-linker metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) for humidity control and gas separation.

Duration of the project: 2 years

Project position: Project Assistant – I

Number: 1

Age limit: Must not be over 28 years as on December 3, 2019 (relaxable as per the norms/orders of Government of India).

Fellowship amount: 20,000 pm consolidated

Eligibility requirements: M.Sc Chemistry (General/Inorganic/Materials)

Candidates with prior experience in MOF synthesis or candidates with GATE/NET qualification is desirable. Please note that only qualified and suitable candidates will be called for interview to be held at BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad Campus

in December 2019. No TA/DA will be paid for the interview. Selected candidate may be permitted to register for Ph.D. program of BITS, Pilani, subject to the fulfilment of the requirements
