Applications are invited for the Post of Junior Research Fellow under research project Ref: SRG/2019/001133 at Department of Chemistry, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Kancheepuram District, Tamil Nadu 603203, India.
Job Title: Junior Research Fellow
Key Skills: Knowledge in the organic synthesis
Eligibility for Project Assistant: First class post-graduation degree in basic science (Preferably M.Sc. in Chemistry/Organic/ equivalent Degree. Good communication and willingness to take up challenging tasks will be a key advantage. Candidates with industrial experience will be given priority if they qualify in the interview
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹20,000 /month
Title of the Research Project: “Semisynthetic Approach to Focussed Libraries of Gingerol, Shogaol, and Nimbin Analogs: Synthesis, Structure-Activity Relationship, Mechanism of Inhibition and Biological Screening”.
Responsibilities and Duties
The selected candidate will involve in the project activities related to the isolation of known natural products using literature procedure and utilize it as starting materials for the focused library generation of new
