Reporting To SFE Manager – Medical Sales & Training

Indirect Report/s – Area Medical Manager, Medical Executives and Key Account Medical Executives

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Job responsibility includes field training, CRT, HCP relationship building, capability development of Medical Sales Force

  • Build Medical Detailing Capability of Medical Field force through regular training (CRT as well as OTJ).
  •  Actively engages in HCP visits with Medical Executives for 10 days in a month
  • Adds tangible value in Rx generation, HCP Enlistment in HCP visits by providing OTJ to Medical Field Force.
  • Actively engages in sales meeting, presents SF Data analytics; conducts OJT and coaching in sales call presentations.
  • Initiates specific action plans for the region for KOL development, participates in regional events such as Pocket sessions, GCM and Ad-Board Meeting.
  • Develops knowledge to provide Training support for RMM, AMM and ME in e-Detailing / e-Training through F3 system.
  • Provides Sales Management with reporting and analysis of sales activity, Call plan attainment, SOV & other key MSF reports and development of consistent ongoing trending to measure and monitor medical sales effort vs. activities to improve sales force effectiveness. Monitors competencies that are position relevant, PIP of MSF.
  • Gathers data to assist in-market analysis, competitor intelligence and development of customer profiling, segmentation, targeting, budgeting and call plan management that delivers business results.
  • Builds an effective call plan strategy that is region specific, leveraging marketing and sales input.
  • Targets and monitors hi-value engagement HCPs activity with specific action plan to improve secondary in attached outlets.
  • Ensures timely, consistent and accurate reporting of all field information. Optimizes F3 usage in coordination with Regional medical manager to monitor and measure Medical Sales activities in compliance with all local, regional and global requirements.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Educational Qualification
– Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Biotechnology
– Professional Degree in Management -preferred

Professional Background
– Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in medical sales training from leading MNCs/pharmaceutical/infant formula sales, sales commercial operations, sales support

Expected Areas of Competence
– Proficient in HCP interactions and demand generation model
– Develops training modules to conduct Class Room Training, provide feedback
– Effective communication skills including presentation and written skills in internal and external correspondence
– Understands Sales processes and Sales Automation system
– Demonstrates the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
– Expert in Coaching techniques
