Applications are invited for one post of Junior Research Fellow in a funded project “Development of a nanoparticulate drug (bevacizumab) delivery system for the non-invasive treatment of diabetic retinopathy (DST/BSBE/2018153) by Department of Science and Technology, Nanomission and the post is co-terminus with the project duration” at the Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering, IIT Kanpur.
Project Title: “Development of a nanoparticulate drug (bevacizumab) delivery system for the non-invasive treatment of diabetic retinopathy (DST/BSBE/2018153) by Department of Science and Technology, Nanomission and the post is co-terminus
Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Salary Range: Consolidate Rs. 25000 + HRA as per the institute norms.
Minimum Qualification: M. Pharm/M.S. (Pharm) in any discipline or M. Tech in Biotechnology/Biomedical engineering or M. Sc. in Life Sciences/Biotechnology with GATE/NET or B.Tech in Biotechnology/Biomedical engineering with GATE/NET.
Desirable Qualification: Candidate with experience in formulation of micro-/nano-particulate drug delivery systems, fabrication of ocular drug delivery systems/devices, animal handling, diabetic retinopathy animal
(rodent) model generation and mammalian cell culture studies are desirable.The post is purely temporary and on contractual basis.
Note: Only short-listed applicants will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Applicants who do not meet the minimum qualification and work experience will not be called for the interview.
