Ability to independently plan, organize, coordinate, manage & execute assigned tasks.
Basic Knowledge of Computer skill like MS Office and knowledge of commonly used lab software
Role Overview: Responsible to support Mulund IM plant Q&C Laboratory (Analytical) Operations; work effectively for GLP/GMP compliance in the laboratory. Responsible to provide timely disposition of the material/product & support the projects (NPIs & other regional initiatives). Responsible to ensure compliance in lab in accordance with Johnson & Johnson policies, Quality Policy Standards, Quality Technical Standards, as well as Health Authority regulations.
Illustrative Responsibilities :
- Testing of Finish Product and Raw material
- Supervision and GLP/GMP compliance in laboratory
- Training to Lab Analyst
- Lab Services to maintain upkeeps
Quality:
- To ensure implementation of Good Laboratory Practices & Good Documentation Practices in the Quality Control Laboratory.
- Responsible to work on regional, global and enterprise initiatives in Analytical
- Laboratory, Mulund to ensure Standard and Global Procedures are implemented in a standard approach like JJPS/M2W etc.
- Responsible to maintain the laboratory as a part of Audit Readiness Activities programs for Internal and External Audit Readiness Strategy and implementation of Action Plan at in house lab.
- To conduct and ensure on time sampling & testing for incoming materials, in-process materials/products and finished products being manufactured in the plant. Providing feedback to QA & Manufacturing to enable timely disposition decisions.
- To provide periodic training and perform qualification of Quality Control Analysts.
- Responsible for Operation, upkeep, qualification, calibration & maintenance of analytical instruments like HPLC, FTIR, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, etc.
- Review of scale up/validation protocols and report.
- Testing of in-process materials/products and finished products being manufactured in the plant, validation and stability samples.
- Preparation and execution of various validation protocols and reports.
- To review analytical data and provide disposition status of Raw Material and Packing Material on timely basis.
- Handling and Management of Reference Standards and working standards.
- Handling of Chemical, Reagents, Indicators and Volumetric Solutions in the Laboratory.
- Perform sampling of Intermediates, Bulk as per the defined sampling plan, SOP & protocols
- Procurement and management of Chemicals, Labels, Registers, Sampling Containers and other lab requirements.
