Job Title: Jr. Research Associate/ Research Associate
Work Location: Jubilant Biosys Ltd, Bangalore
Eligibility:Â Masters in Pharmacy
Experience:Â Â 2-6 years of laboratory research.
Desirable:
- Good scientific knowledge about the basics of the pharmacokinetics and method validations.
- Good exposure in handling of animals and instruments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics – Bioanalysis (in vitro and invivo).
- In-vitro ADME studies like Metabolic stability, Intrinsic metabolic clearance, Plasma stability, Plasma protein binding, Brain protein binding, Solubility studies, Log-D, PAMPA.
- PK-PD studies in rat and mice of NCEs ( worked in obesity and neurosciences)
- Bio-analytical method development & validation for Novel Chemical Entities in complex biological matrix like plasma, serum, tissues, on HPLC and LCMS/MS
- Handling of laboratory animals like rat, mice, Guniea Pig and Rabbits.
- Dose administration to experimental animals by different routes like oral (p.o.), intravenous (i.v.), intraperitoneal (i.p.), subcutaneous (SC) etc.
- Data analysis, Data generation, compilation and report preparation
- Canulation of jugular vein, bile duct and femoral vein in experimental rat model.
- Experience with small animal surgery and handling.
- Good knowledge In vivo animal models.
- Proficiency in compound dose preparation, administration to experimental animals.
- Flexibility, and the ability to work in fast paced and team oriented environment.
- Preparation & Review of study protocol, study reports and SOPs for DMPK studies.
- Excellent organizational and guidance skills to team associates.
- Highly developed problem-solving skills.
- Good Documentation Practices and GLP Compliance.
