Project Title: Multi-functional Nanomaterial systems for modulation of glycosylation in animals

Principal Investigator: Dr. S. Gopalan Sampathkumar, SS-V (Laboratory of Chemical Glycobiology)

Funding Agency: DST

Emoluments:  Rs. 28,000/- per month plus 30% HRA (As per DST OM dated 21.10.2014)

Job Description:

To design, synthesize, and the characterize biocompatible precision nanomaterials and evaluate their functions in vitro in cells and in vivo in animals. Experience in organic synthesis, high pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC), Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, nanoparticle characterization, and animal handling are essential. Knowledge of biochemistry and glycobiology are desirable

Qualifications: 

M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, or equivalent with NET or equivalent degree with two years of research experience, as per DST OM dated 21.10.2014.
