Syngenta is a global Swiss agricultural company that produces agrochemicals and seeds. As a biotechnology company, it conducts genomic research. The company was formed in 2000 by the merger of Novartis Agribusiness and Zeneca Agrochemicals. As of 2014 Syngenta was the world’s largest crop chemical producer, strongest in Europe. As of 2009 it ranked third in seeds and biotechnology sales. Sales in 2015 were approximately 15 Billion USD over half of which were generated in emerging markets. The company has about 28.000 employees. Job Description:
- To plan and perform the organic reactions on daily basis and complete projects as per the agreed objectives and milestones.
- To support the Line Manager in running the laboratory efficiently.
- To maintain the laboratory resources and equipments.
- To maintain highest standards of HSE including laboratory housekeeping.
- To be able to interact with colleagues in other research sites as and when required.
- To analyze and report results to the Line Manager.
- To record and precise documentation of the reactions result in ELN.
- To maintain complete confidentiality of all Syngenta intellectual property.
Qualifications:Â
Education-
- PG:MS/M.Sc(Science) – Any Specialization, Organic Chemistry
- Doctorate:Ph.D – Chemistry
