SRF (01) positions are available in the BRNS sponsored project entitled “Modelling validation and application of ligand coated soft materials for adsorptive separation of GD+3 and UO2+2 ions”.
Job Title : SRF
Minimum Qualification: Applicant should have Ph.D. or M.Tech+3years experience either in chemical engineering, Physical Chemistry, material science or computational physics.
He/She should have strong programming skills. In particular the candidate should have experience in Gaussian and molecular dynamics packages. The candidate will have to work on the software development besides using Gaussian, GULP and other packages to understand ligand-metal ion interaction. Furthermore, the project also involves development of force-field for the polymer-ligand-metal ion systems.
Salary Range: Rs. 28,000/- (per month) as per BRNS
Duration of appointment: 1 Year Contract (may be extended)
