Type of Engagement: The engagement of Project Staff is purely on temporary and contract basis under the CSIR/Externally funded/Other projects undertaken by CSIR-NAL. The engagement shall be for short period and co-terminus with the project.

Project Associate-I / PAT-I (₹25,000/- + HRA)

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University OR Any equivalent qualifications duly recognized by the concerned authority
  • Specialization: Mechanical/ Aerospace/ Aeronautical
  • No. of Positions: 12
  • Age limit: 35 years
  • Job Requirements: To support scientist in carrying out the detail design engineering of Hydraulic System; Mechanical Design, CAD & FEA; Desirable: 1-2 years of Aerospace-relevant experience; Knowledge in fluid dynamics, aerodynamics; Experience with jets/micro-jets; 3D CAD modelling and drafting knowledge using CATIA/Solidworks; Experience in wind tunnel experiments and data analysis; Knowledge of wind tunnel instrumentation; Programming skills: Python, MATLAB; Knowledge in thermal & Heat Transfer; Tool design of composite parts. Preparation of tool CAD model and drawing using CATIA and Draftsight. Manufacturing engineering CAD data support; Dimensional inspection and calibration of measuring instruments; UAV Pilot: Fixed-Wing UAVs and Multirotor UAVs; Should have good knowledge of UAV sub-systems and their Assembly/Integration; Experience in UAV Autopilot Integration and Ground Control Station (GCS) Software; Trouble Shoot and debug components of UAV; CATIA 3D Modelling and Drafting, Generation of CAD models and Drawings; 6DOF Model development using Open Modelica; CATIA V5/ GD&T / AIRCRAFT DESIGN; Fabrication, Testing of sensor, documentation, Design modeling, fabrication & Testing of sensor, documentation; R & D on High Temperature Shape memory alloys.
