Job Description

This is an industry CRO scientific leadership role focused on in vitro drug metabolism, metabolite profiling and structural elucidation.

The Met ID Scientific Manager supports drug-discovery programmes by characterising metabolites, guiding in vitro metabolism study design, and delivering high-quality LC-MS/MS / HRMS data packages to clients. The position sits inside Aragen’s DMPK capability and expects both bench-science depth and the ability to lead scientists while interfacing with sponsors.

Eligibility Criteria

  • PhD in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a relevant scientific discipline
  • 2–5 years of post-PhD industry experience (mandatory)
  • Postdoctoral experience preferred
  • Prior CRO experience is essential
  • Experience in team management and customer interface is required

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in In Vitro Metabolism and Metabolite Identification (Met ID)
  • Hands-on experience in drug metabolism studies, metabolite profiling and structural elucidation using LC-MS/MS and HRMS
  • Knowledge of metabolic pathways, metabolite characterization and data interpretation
  • Experience designing and executing Met ID studies and interpreting complex analytical data
