IACS Kolkata RA-I Job Description
Recruitment of one Research Associate-I (RA-I) in the School of Applied & Interdisciplinary Sciences under Prof. Somobrata Acharya, on a temporary basis. This IACS Kolkata RA-I vacancy suits candidates with organic and supramolecular chemistry research experience.
Essential qualification:
- Candidates should have Ph.D. degree with a good overall academic record.
Desired past research experience:
- Past research experience in synthesis of organic compounds, Supramolecular chemistry, molecular self-assembly, chirality and chiroptical materials, functional amphiphiles, lipid-membrane interactions, stimuli-responsive soft materials.

Fellowship: As per institute rules. The position is purely temporary and a candidate will not have any right to claim (explicit or implicit) to any post in the institute.
Nationality: The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
Duration: 6 months or completion of the research work.
