Job Description
The role organises, performs and analyses chemical or product analysis, method development, applications and independent investigative testing (about 300 tests per month), and prepares formal reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory tests per established procedures.
- Analyse and characterise carbon black and formulation materials.
- Develop and recommend new or improved test procedures.
- Calibrate and maintain test equipment.
- Maintain data integrity and safety.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in science or related field with 3-5 years of experience, or
- Master’s degree in science or related field with 2 years of experience.
Preferred:
- 2-3 years of guided laboratory research experience.
- Master’s in analytical chemistry.
- Experience with analytical instrumentation, software and sample preparation.
