Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested in this Freshers Chemistry Job apprenticeship must meet the following requirements:
- Educational Qualification: Regular, full-time B.Sc. Chemistry degree from a UGC-approved university.
- Year of Passing: Candidates who graduated in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 are eligible.
- Age Limit: Applicants must have completed 18 years of age on or before 31 October 2026.
- Region: Only candidates hailing from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry are eligible.
- Previous Apprenticeship: Candidates must not have previously undergone or currently be undergoing NAPS/NATS or PM Internship Scheme training at NLC India Limited or elsewhere.
Reservation
Reservation for SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PwBD candidates will follow the Apprentices Act. Applicants seeking reservation must submit valid certificates in the prescribed Government format. OBC-NCL certificates must meet the notification’s validity requirements.
Selection Process
Selection for the Graduate (Non-Engineering) Chemistry apprenticeship will be based on marks obtained in the qualifying bachelor’s degree. Candidates with CGPA or grades must provide the equivalent percentage according to their university’s conversion procedure. If two candidates have the same percentage at the cut-off, preference will be given to the older candidate.
Monthly Stipend
Selected B.Sc. Chemistry graduates in these NLC India Chemistry Jobs 2026 will receive ₹14,174 per month during the 12-month apprenticeship. Of this amount, ₹6,150 will be paid by the Government through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme. The apprenticeship is a training opportunity and does not guarantee permanent or temporary employment at NLC India Limited.
