Job Description
The JNCASR Research Associate will work on a DST-sponsored project entitled “AMP-inspired rapid point-of-care detection platform for lipopolysaccharide and Gram-negative bacteria.” The position requires a PhD in Chemical Sciences or an equivalent degree, or 5 years of research experience after an M.Sc/M.Pharm/M.E/M.Tech with at least one research paper published in a Science Citation Index (SCI) Journal.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on point-of-care detection methods.
- Engage in organic and peptide synthesis, purification, and characterisation.
- Collaborate with the Principal Investigator and other team members.
- Prepare reports and publish research findings in reputable journals.
Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualification: PhD in Chemical Sciences or equivalent, or M.Sc/M.Pharm/M.E/M.Tech with 5 years of research experience.
- Maximum Age: 35 years.
- Desirable Qualification: Research experience in organic synthesis and related fields.
