NISER Project Research Scientist Job Details
- Essential Qualifications: Postgraduate degree, including an Integrated Postgraduate degree, in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Bioinformatics, Zoology, Biotechnology, or an equivalent discipline from a recognized University/Institute.
- Desired Qualification: Research experience in relevant chemical or biochemical characterization techniques with a background in chemistry is desirable. Experience in interdisciplinary research involving chemical and/or biological systems will be an added advantage. This NISER Project Research Scientist role is suited to candidates with this interdisciplinary background.
- Monthly Emoluments: ₹56,000/- per month plus HRA as per rules.
- Age Limit: 35 years as on 30 September 2026, with age relaxation for entitled categories as per Government of India rules.
- Duration: The position is temporary for a period of 1 year or until project completion, whichever is earlier, and is strictly co-terminus with the project.
